Join us for a reenactment to commemorate the 150th Anniversary of Cinco de Mayo
at Camp Mabry (National Guard Post,) Austin, Texas
Sat.-Sun. May 5-6, 2012

About our  websites

Information about the consortium, its goals and activities, will be carried by several websites, in both English and Spanish. Eventually, it will have links to each member organization, along with a directory of contacts and a brief description of what the organization offers as its contribution to the “Share-the-Culture” mission.

This website will focus on the “business” end of the operation, including information about the Board of Directors, fundraising, management recruitment and activities related to the consortium’s mission other than the four-day festival planned for Austin, Texas, in May of 2012.  There will be brief summaries of the 2012 project and its progress on this site, but details will be on other websites. This is so that - for example - those who only want to participate in activities such as the re-enactment, the parade or military ball will not have to sort through detailed information which is not  pertinent to those events.

Our other website in English - www.BattleofPuebla.com - will specialize in the activities
planned for our four-day celebration in Austin, Texas, during the first week of May, 2012. Saturday. May 5, 2012, will be the 150th anniversary of Cinco de Mayo.
