Share-The-Culture.com describes our efforts to promote the teaching, publishing and dissemination of information about Mexican and Mexican-American history and culture. It discusses our plans for lectures, exhibits, workshops and publications, as well as our efforts to recruit a permanent board of directors and apply for status as a nonprofit corporation. If you would like to know more about our academic mission and our plans to “partner” with other organizations, stay right here on this website.
Our other site, BattleofPuebla.com, tells about our plans for a four-day community celebration in Austin, Texas, during the first week of May, 2012. It will be the 150th anniversary of Cinco de Mayo, and there will be parades, military balls, a battle re-enactment, dinner theatres, campsites to visit, and lots more.
